(January 12, 2007– Weirs, NH) Play Bingo with the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society at the Funspot Bingo Hall in the Weirs every Tuesday and enter your admission ticket into a special drawing on the 1st Tuesday of the month to win a free 32” Wide Screen LCD TV.

If you don’t want the television, you may choose $400 cash as your prize instead. You do not need to be present to win, but if you are, you will also receive a free DVD player.s
Start coming now to the Tuesday night Bingo games to register your admission tickets. The more times you enter, the greater your chances are to win. The first of the Terrific Tuesday drawings will be held on Tuesday, February 6th.

The 1st Tuesday Bingo game of each month will also feature a Carryover Coverall Game paying $1,000 (based on available carryover coverall funds).

You may purchase a $20 18-card package or a $16 12-card package. Tuesday games also include an “Early Bird Odd-Even Coverall” game sold separately for $1 per strip. Extra Carryover Coverall Game strips may also be purchased for $1 per strip.

Other cash prizes can be won through pull-tab tickets sold at 50 cents each which pay from $10 to $499.

The Bingo games begin at 6:45 p.m. and doors open at 4:00 p.m. Enjoy a catered buffet meal from Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant or a drink from the full bar provided by the D.A. Long Tavern while you wait for the game to begin. The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society also hosts Bingo Games on Saturday afternoons and evenings, with doors opening at 3:00 p.m.

The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society was established to preserve and promote the history of Lake Winnipesaukee and vicinity. The Lake Winnipesaukee Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. all year and is located directly on Route 3 in the Weirs, just south of Funspot.
