OCTOBER BINGO GAME to BENEFIT LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE MUSEUM
Regular Games Expected to Pay $4,000 Maximum Allowed by New State Law

(October 5, 2007 - Laconia, NH) The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society will host an October Big Bingo fundraising event on Saturday, October 13th, at the Funspot Bingo Hall, Route 3, Weirs Beach. It is estimated that players will walk away that night with over $11,000 in prize money. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. with bingo sessions played at 4:30 and 6:45.

This month’s big bingo game is expected to pay out more money than ever before with the recent law change increasing the prize limits on regular games. The day’s 22 regular games alone will pay out the new maximum of $4,000.

The event kicks off with an Early Bird session at 4:30 p.m. This one-hour session will feature a $15 9-card package of 11 regular games, paying an estimated $140 each with the final game paying $200.

The evening session will begin at 6:45 p.m. Your choice of a $25 12-card package or a $30 18-card package will consist of 12 regular games, paying $200 each.

The first game of the evening session will be an Odd-Even Coverall Winner-Takes-All game sold separately for $2 per strip with an estimated jackpot of $1,900. Two Winner-Takes-All games may award between $700-$900 each and the Carryover Coverall game is estimated to pay $4,400. All prizes are based on attendance.

Guests may come for either or both the Early Bird and Regular Game Sessions. Doors will open at 2:00 p.m.; seating is limited to 400 persons. Enjoy a catered buffet meal from Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant or a drink from the full bar provided by the D.A. Long Tavern while you wait for the games to begin. The Funspot Bingo Hall is a non-smoking facility.
