You Can Help LWHS!
We need you to help us preserve the history and heritage of Lake Winnipesaukee. Your support helps us operate our year round museum, provide educational programs to the community, and act as a resource for the rich history of the area. There are many ways you can help.
Make a Financial Donation
The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and we depend on donations and fundraising activities to continue our operations. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Contributions made on this web site are processed through SSL secure servers, so you may donate with confidence.
Donate Your Time
Many volunteer opportunities are available to help us continue our mission. Whether it is acting as a greeter or tour guide at the museum, assisting at the Winnipesaukee Wednesday lecture series, organizing historical research, updating the computer database, or helping out at our Bingo games, you can become an invaluable part of the LWHS team.
Donate Artifacts
Examples of donations include photographs, medals, posters, memorabilia, and any items relative to Lake Winnipesaukee. Artifacts may be donated to the museum by temporary loan or permanent donation. Temporary Loan: The artifact remains the property of the donor and is loaned to the museum for a short period of time.
