(October 2, 2008 – Weirs, NH) Join the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society on Saturday, October 11 for Fabulous Fall Bingo, a high stakes bingo game, and take a chance to win over $10,000 in prizes. Doors open at 2:00 pm at the Funspot Bingo Hall, Rte. 3, Weirs Beach, NH.
The Fabulous Fall Bingo Game offers a $15 9-card package for the afternoon session (4:30-5:30pm) and your choice of a $25 12-card package or $30 18-card for the evening session (6:45-9:15pm). Guests may play either the afternoon or the evening session, or may come early and stay late to play both sessions.
The one-hour afternoon session will include 10 games paying an estimated $120 each and one paying $200. The evening session will include 12 games paying an estimated $200 each and three “Winner Takes All” games that may award up to $1,900. The “Carryover Coverall” game is guaranteed to pay $2,000. In addition, there will be an “Early Bird Odd-Even Coverall” game sold separately for $2 per strip with an estimated jackpot of $1,900. All prizes are based on attendance.
Players may choose to play either paper, electronic or both paper and electronic packages as Video Bingo has recently been installed at the Funspot Bingo Hall. Players are allowed to buy a maximum of 54 faces on an electronic video bingo device and are limited to one unit per person. There is a $6 rental fee for the electronic bingo device in addition to the cost of the packages. Multiple packages may be purchased for either session, with some discounts for multiple purchases.
Other cash prizes can be won through pull-tab tickets sold at 50 cents each that pay from $10 to $499.
Guests are encouraged to come early to get your favorite seat as seating is limited. Doors open at 2:00pm. Enjoy a catered buffet meal from Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant served at 4:00pm or a drink from the full bar provided by the D.A. Long Tavern. The Funspot Bingo Hall is a non-smoking facility; smoking allowed outdoors only.
Now through October 28, each person who supports LWHS by attending its Bingo charity fundraising games will receive a free One Year membership. Membership forms are available at the counter when you purchase your package. LWHS is competing against 32 other participating New Hampshire historical societies for a chance to win $25,000 from the Finlay Foundation.
